Teaching

I teach BA courses in literary studies with a focus on literature as of the Early Modern period, philosophical, theological and political approaches, and critical theory. In addition to British literature I often like to include other European and US-American literary works. I am also fond of integrating various movies, TV shows and anime as part of my curriculum.

- power, sovereignty, biopolitics, state of exception
- Judeo-Christian theology
- Tolkien Studies
- I am currently working on my PhD project Satanic Politics: Literary Sovereignty in John Milton, William Blake, and J.R.R. Tolkien.
